This 16 minute video on tolerance and understanding of students with Asperger Syndrome is directed at typical Elementary school-aged children.

The video opens with a description of famous people who are believed to have had AS. It then provides illustrations and descriptions from students themselves of the issues they face.

The issues covered range from social-communication difficulties and bullying to special interests and sensory challenges. As well as exploring these issues, this video also celebrates the strengths of children with AS, and provides advice for typical peers on how to be good friends to individuals with AS.

This video would be a helpful component of a sensitivity training program, for use by a teacher or a parent.
